My story, mission and vision
I came to medicine after a family member’s heart diagnosis stopped me in my tracks and rearranged my priorities. PA school led to my first medical mission trip to Uganda, where I found my calling helping women through deeply personal health struggles, and learned that what binds us together runs far deeper than any cultural or economic difference.
I started Solcara Health to practice differently: personalized, whole-person care with a positive approach that inspired our slogan, Lively Up Your Health. Board certified in Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine, I bring a global perspective, and a little Maui spirit, to every patient in Mount Pleasant.

Advanced lipid testing assesses your cardiovascular health and your risk of heart disease or stroke. It goes beyond a traditional cholesterol test, giving a more detailed look at your lipids, including particle size and number, plus other helpful and harmful components in your bloodstream.
It measures both LDL and HDL cholesterol, your triglycerides, and the size and number of your cholesterol particles. It also looks at inflammation markers like C-reactive protein (CRP).
Advanced testing measures extra details, like particle number and size, that a standard test can miss. That fuller picture helps your provider assess your real risk and build a plan made for you.
